pictures by OLIVIER ZAHM
with a portfolio by NIC TENWIGGENHORN
German photographer Nic Tenwiggenhorn has been taking black-and-white pictures of artists since the early ’70s. His portraits of the avant-garde art scene, like those published here, capture a time when artists incarnated integrity, intellectual resistance, solitude, narcissism, and political opposition.
