As Brazil is experiencing chaotic nostalgia for its darker years, JUAN CORRALES attempts to capture intimacy, affection, and curiosity following his friends, family and some unknown characters through parties and daily moments; thus revealing the strength of Brazil’s youth in maintaining the country as a place to question identity and colonial habits.
The images were taken between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in 2019.
