Night pictures by OLIVIER ZAHM
and portfolio by BRAD ELTERMAN
Arriving in Hollywood in 1976, the 18-year-old Brad Elterman was soon living the high life on the rock and roll party circuit, befriending and photographing all the stars. Eventually he was covering tours and shooting backstage for the American Music Awards. Brad was one of the first photographers to use a Canon point-and-shoot shoot camera. Within a half a dozen years rock was subsumed by big business and disco’s glitzy allure. These pictures capture this long lost world.
All Brad Elterman photos are excerpted from his new book Like it Was Yesterday, from Seventy Seven Press LLC.
