We expect the future world to look a lot like it does now, only bleeker. More extreme weather, wealth gaps, and loneliness (sorry).
To us, it seems that music hasn’t evolved much in the past fifty years. The real changes lie in how music is recorded and how it is listened to. As Motörhead (and some French guy) had it, “Everything changes, it all stays the same.” It’s mostly cyclical.
For the human race to still be around, we’ll have to go back to basics. So we put our money on a slow, dark and primitive chant.
