CULTO A LA VIDA –  ALEJANDRO MOLINARI

Berlin-based Alejandro Molinari premiers his latest EP Culto A La Vida on the record label Phisica. Inspired by the poetry and writings of the Mexican author Octavio Paz, the lyrics reference his concept of the cult of life and death, both of which are interlinked in an eternal cosmic cycle. Loyal to his Italo influences and the post-punk vibe characteristic to Alejandro’s sound, the track features tribal percussions that accentuate the feeling of ancient rituals. The EP features remixes by Elfeberg and Badwolf.

The cover art for Culto A La Vida was designed by Aleph Molinari, art director, photographer, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Purple Magazine. The cover features a solarized and mirrored image of a body in the throes of ecstasy, embodying the cult of life.
