Kim Gordon and Dimitri Chamblas’ performance during Francesca Gabbiani’s “Vague Terrains/Urban Fuckups”
Purple presents an exclusive video of artist, singer, and songwriter KIM GORDON performing with dancer, choreographer and head of dance at CalArts Institute in Los Angeles DIMITRI CHAMBLAS during FRANCESCA GABBIANI‘s exhibition “Vague Terrains/Urban Fuckups” at Gavlak gallery, Los Angeles. In the exhibition GABBIANI sheds light on the overlooked details of the urban environment – the abandoned grounds and unattended interstices of a city. With a cutter and colored paper she re-creates the synergie of vegetation and concrete, documenting the extraordinary atmosphere of the no-man’s-land that is neither nature nor city.

The performance will be held one more time in March 2019 at “Liquid Music” festival in Minneapolis.
