Canadian painter Chloe Wise’s created a film “Told A Vision“, for Parcours, Paris+. Fragments of commercials, despite their uncanny familiarity and authoritative language, advertise nothing in particular. These scenes evoke empty promises, tautologically promoting the idea of consumerism itself.
