For his first gallery exhibition in Paris in fifteen years, French designer Martin Szekely presents a series of unique objects made in his Normandy workshop since 2020. Working alone with discarded wooden beams, boatyard fragments, and other salvaged materials, he uses just a few handsaw cuts to transform them into functional objects. Leaving their cracks, stains, and signs of wear untouched, Szekely gives these forgotten materials a new purpose while preserving the history of each piece.
