American artist Jenny Holzer brings the voices of the 19th century into the present. Drawing on more than 750 texts, from artists’ letters to political writings, she transforms the museum through monumental LED installations, engraved marble benches, and paintings based on censored government documents. Exploring war, power, and social conflict, Holzer places historical voices alongside contemporary concerns, revealing how the struggles of the past continue to resonate today.
