This summer we have commissioned young photographers to share their travel through a photographic lense and reveal a part of this beautiful world far from mass tourism.
Jacques Burga, a native of Peru, takes us on a journey though his homeland, place of shimmering oases, tranquil beaches where the ocean meets the sky, and the majestic Andes that rise with untamed grace.
Its landscapes shift from the stark elegance of deserts to the lush embrace of fertile valleys and the mystique of the Amazon. In Lima, original hometown of Jacques, or along the serene northern beaches of Mancora, each return to Peru is a chance to slow down and savor life’s simple pleasures. Here, the echoes of ancient cultures infuse the present, making every moment a reflection of Peru’s timeless beauty and soul.
