CDG The Generic Man by Aaron Rose
The director and friend of purple, Aaron Rose presents a short film titled ‘The Generic Man’ for Comme des Garcons Shirt 2012 starring Chris Johanson. Aaron explained the concept for the film as “I wanted to show a type of man that is rarely shown in fashion. Chris is a perfect example of this. He’s creative, intelligent, hilarious, somewhat of a mystic…PLUS he has great style.”
“All of the men that I think are great have some element of strangeness to them. They are not trendy. They make their own look. I feel like this film celebrates that element. It’s a testament to the fact that you don’t have to be like everybody else to be cool and stylish. Also, I think there’s some great life advice in there too. I think it is important to make films that not only look good, but also make you think.”
