Ascension by Zoe Le Ber
This beautiful black and white film was created by French actress and filmmaker Zoe le Ber and artist Dustin Yellin and stars Zoe and Camille Rowe Pourcheresse. Zoe explains the meaning of Ascension as “In the middle of nowhere, you take the time to think. Plato crossed the centuries with words. As all of us, he was born in a cave and he decided to ascend into the light toward the unknown. The world outside revealed a plethora of knowledge and experience that changed the fabric of his being permanently. He had the courage to descend again down into the darkness to share his own enlightenment. This descent was his ascension.”
