Frank Stella, the iconic figure of post modern American art, is the subject of a small but well conceived survey at London’s Haunch of Venison. Connections attempts to place Stella‘s newer works within the context of his earlier concerns of space, surface and Minimalism. The show sheds lights on the artist’s long standing interest in movement and his development of this idea through a visual language over the past fifty years. On view thru 19th November 2011 at the Haunch of Venison, 6 Burlington Gardens, London. Text and photo Juliana Balestin
