Stéphane Ashpool crafted the uniforms for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Artistic director Stéphane Ashpool has designed his collection as a tribute to the athletes of the French team and to Paris, the city that saw him grow and evolve. Inspired by the splendor of the City of Lights, a symbol of international fashion and elegance, he celebrates diversity and unity through the sports disciplines, cultures and generational differences that embody France. This collection produced by Le Coq Sportif will reflect France at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The diversity is seen in the mix of materials and colors reflected in the pieces. From the fusion of blue, white, and red, a new flag is born, giving life to a palette of unprecedented colors, both vibrant and modern.
Stéphane developed a series of backstage photos from the editorial shoot of this collection: “It was an honor to work on the French national team kit for the Olympics, I had so much fun doing the shoot for the campaign and meeting athletes from different sports. I took these making-off photos from a small Contax camera, I wanted to remember this moment.”
