A magical desert by the Red Sea in Egypt is gifted with a red mountainous terrain, the healing power of the sun, and the majesty of underwater life. As the sun begins to set, a shooting star may fall, and the warm hearts of the Bedouins echo in night sky as they ardently play the beautiful sounds of their traditional music by the fire, sounds that fill my heart with the purest of love. Our connection is deep, inexplicable, and often unspoken. Perhaps I was one of them in my past life, but in this lifetime I feel so lucky to have my Bedouin “family” welcome me back each year when I visit this beautiful Peninsula desert land where I find myself over and over again. This is my sacred place, This is my spiritual home. Salama Abdo Camp, Ras el Barqe South Sinai, Egypt Text Adi Gil and Photo Brian Gonzalez
