Naoshima
Earlier this year I travelled from Tokyo to Kyoto, Osaka to Naoshima back to Tokyo and ended up in Shanghai. It was my first time in Asia and while being amazing by the obvious (for the Western eye that has never been to places like this before) all the straight lines constructed by nature and by humans really got my attention. Not being able to fully read your surrounding makes you focus on the small things, which are often overlooked in our day to day life.
