“I just moved to a new place in Brooklyn, looking out the window of my apartment on a rainy day I saw a boy by himself shooting hoops. I was fascinated that he was out there by himself in the rain. So I thought it might make a nice little film. So i grabbed my camera, tripod and raincoat and went out there. We didn’t exchange many words. Just asked him do you mind if I film you playing basketball and he was all right with it. Afterwards I gave him a link to my website and he gave me his name. That’s it. Two people despite the rain working on something they are dedicated to.” – Ari Marcopoulos
