Savage Beauty by Alexander McQueen
If you have yet to see the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A London, celebrating the extraordinary creative talent of one of the most innovative designers of recent times, be sure to discover the Savage Beauty microsite that launched this week to mark the opening of the retrospective. The site features beautifully compliled footage of 20 years of McQueen. Touching on all aspects of his vision, the site like the retrospective covers subjects such as a Savage Mind, Gothic, Romantic Primitivism, Nationalism, Cabinet of Curiosities, Pepper’s Ghost, Romantic Exoticism, Naturalism, and Plato’s Atlantis. Celebrating the extraordinary creative talent of one of the most innovative designers of recent times, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty is the first and largest retrospective of McQueen’s work to be presented in Europe. Music on the site features compositions by Max Richter.
