Dinner with Chibi Cherry by India Salvor Menuez
Performed on January 10th 2016 in the VW Dome at the MoMA PS1, India Salvor Menuez presented Dinner with Chibi Cherry. A tableau from a parallel dimension, Dinner with Chibi Cherry explores the role of audience in performance and the distribution of power within a hierarchical system. The performance was part of the Sunday Session for The Greater New York show curated by Raul De Nieves and Gage of the Boone as a continuation of their queer performance community space The Spectrum.
Table and Chairs were original designs by Jack Shannon.
The score was performed live by Various Ways of No Way (Ross Menuez)
