[February 20 2013]
For Trevor Paglen’s first solo show with Metro Pictures, the artist examines the anxiety inherent in the uncertainty of life and future events. Paglen’s exhibition includes a group of images from The Last Pictures series. These works reflect crises of faith, loneliness and disappearance. The artist navigates between worlds of philosophy and beauty to understand the future without disregarding the past. On view through March 9th 2013 at Metro Pictures, 519 West 24th Street, New York.
