Artworks by the Paris collective working under the name Claire Fontaine in her first Metro Pictures exhibition. The multi-media Working Together brings together existing materials from garbage bags to an interview between Richard Prince and Marc Jacobs in order to reveal new possible identites. Working under their pseudonym and with ready-made objects, the artists deny individuality and originality and question the authority of everyday signs and symbols. On view through December 10th 2011 at the Metro Pictures, 519 West 24th Street, New York. Text and Photo Juliana Balestin.
