American artist Tauba Auerbach’s first solo show with Paula Cooper features the signature optical effects and attention to pattern and design found in previous bodies of work. The subtle white on white woven works demonstrate Auerbach’s obsessive technique especially well. Elsewhere, the artist presents news sculptural works made of lead, crystal, urethane and resin placed on pedestals which add an interesting depth and sophistication to her narrative.
