Works from Roy Lichtenstein‘s Entablatures series on view
now at Paula Cooper Gallery, New York. During the 1970s, Lichtenstein reproduced
and simplified through painting the signature architectural elements of
ancient Greek and Roman buildings as well the facades of Manhattan
buildings. For the 21st Street exhibition, the gallery installed the
works both at eye level and near the ceiling as if viewing the works on
