The exhibition brings together the works of ten artists who explore the act of re-enchantment, highlighting the capacity to mend a world fractured both politically and ethically through art. Each of them evoke in their own way a sense of wonder that transcends reality, blending human figures with animals and plants, reconnecting with the logic of the natural world and of mythology. For instance, Loderer’s photographs, overtaken by fungi, Cao’s sculptures crafted from recycled materials, and Papademetropoulos’ spectral paintings exemplify the reconciliation between mundane reality and the realm of dreams. In every image, material, and figure, a transformation occurs, turning them into symbols that beckon us to adopt a more magical perspective on the world.
