“Intimate Tales” feels like stepping into a shared world—where figuration bends, memories surface, and the everyday becomes something more. There’s an ease to the way these works come together, like an ongoing conversation between friends. Devito distorts Renaissance forms, Maloof magnifies the domestic until it hums with emotion, and Fratino captures bodies in moments of quiet vulnerability. Orchard’s figures feel deeply present, while Teoldi’s layered collages turn memory into texture. Moving between personal and universal, real and imagined, the show lingers in the space between storytelling and sensation.
