“Photography and Fashion Since the 1990s,” show at Tokyo’s TOP Museum, gives us a look into the fashion world and how it has been represented through photography over the years. The exhibition featured many archival Purple publications and work from Purple co-founder Elein Fleiss as well as regular Purple contributors Anders Edström and Kyoji Takashi. The exhibition focused on the role these photographers, as well as independent magazines, had in revolutionizing the way we view fashion brands.
Although the exhibition is coming to a close, you can have an inside look at its contents, here, through the lens of photographer Chikashi Suzuki.
