“Paris Sumo Tournament 2026” held at Accor Arena

Marking the return of professional sumo to France after more than three decades, the tournament brought together many of Japan’s leading wrestlers. Beyond the competition itself, the event offered an immersion into Japanese culture through ceremonial rituals, centuries-old traditions, and a celebration of the enduring cultural ties between France and Japan.
