Bringing together photographs, magazines, contact sheets, campaign materials, and archival documents, the exhibition examines how photography helped shape the public image of Yves Saint Laurent and his fashion house. Works by some of the twentieth century’s most influential photographers reveal the close relationship between fashion, image-making, identity, and cultural change.
