“George Rouy: Reprise” exhibition at Hannah Barry Gallery, London
The exhibition presents a new series of paintings centred on repetition, transformation, and the unstable nature of the body. Figures appear doubled, fragmented, carried, or dissolved, moving between states of care, vulnerability, memory, and reinvention, while recurring motifs return in altered forms rather than fixed identities.
