JJ Peet’s small scale assemblage sculptures and frenetic drawings take over On Stellar Rays’ Lower East Side gallery space and turn it into a world of nonlinear connections and discord. Peet’s works on paper serve as instructional abstract maps to direct the viewer through the artist’s objectives. Intentionally puzzling, Defend_Station leaves the viewer to explore from an uncertain and uneasy vantage point. On view through December 16th 2012 at On Stellar Rays, 133 Orchard Street, New York.
