Purple TV presents “When shall the light find my eyes” a film by Tony Cederteg for Swedish sunglasses brand Sun Buddies.
The sparse scene, shot in Los Angeles, is a glimpse into a relationship between two women. Turkish actor, Elit İşcan, from Deniz Gamze Ergüven’s Mustang, 2016 Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film, plays opposite Canadian actor Ingrid Schram. Moody and confused, we see mixed emotions intercut with the movement of two women’s relationship as metaphor. “When shall the light find my eyes” is the first in a series of cinematic excerpts from longer, imaginary stories featuring a single pair of sunglasses.
