Purple premieres “Church of Mercy” by Golden Goose Deluxe Brand & New York Sunshine
Purple presents an exclusive preview of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand‘s installation video “Church of Mercy”, the first chapter of their seven-part “Labor Of Love” series realized in collaboration with artist collective New York Sunshine.
Filmed at the occasion of the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2018, the project explores the brand’s heritage and roots and coincides with the launch of their STARDAN sneakers:
“NYS makes art that is part of life, that should be lived, used and abused, not contemplated. We fully embrace their point of view. Fashion, for us, matters as a part of life. This is why we let the New York Sunshine’s performances collide with the launch of STARDAN sneakers, our homage to American basketball and craftsmanship.”
First of five STARDAN color way, red and black, is set to launch on July 12th, 2018 exclusively online and in GGDB Flag London Dover Street, and from the 13th in all other GGDB retail stores.
