A.F. Vandevorst S/S 2017 “Scapular Wings” by Dirk Braeckman
For Spring/Summer 2017, A.F. Vandevorst exchanges the fashion show format for a more engaging form of presentation. The new collection derives from freedom, independence and music, showcased with an immersive film “Scapular Wings” directed by Dirk Braeckman. Captured during Pukkelpop music festival, it is a non-linear tale of a runaway bride that celebrates liberty and finds herself surrounded by like-minded friends. Depicted in grey, A.F. Vandevorst alludes to the timelessness of the story and the collection that breaks the boundaries between formal, casual and edgy.
