Exclusive premier of BLK Wiccan / Zebra Katz by Mara Zampariolo

Purple TV presents the exclusive premier of the latest music video from Brooklyn based R’n’B artist Zebra Katz. Zebra Katz teamed up with fashion photographer and videographer Mara Zampariolo, founder of boutique production agency MEDIUM-GREY, to record a music video for the single BLK WICCAN. “I thought: let’s showcase the inner darkness of the artist’s world, instead of taking the easy route of a bunch of kids lurking in the shadow,” said Zampariolo. “There is a definite uncomfortable element to uber-commercialism: this is what I want people to experience: a dark video…with as many colors as we could get, with lighting cheesy enough to sell toothpaste. I wanted people with compelling faces and energy. We needed something real, raw, unrehearsed.” Zebra Katz will kick off his 13 dates European tour on November 6th in Glasgow, and after the UK he will perform in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Denmark and France.
