Bobbi Brown by Bruce Weber

A Celebration of Beauty. To mark 20 years of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics’ clean and natural beauty, Bobbi went on set with her longtime friend and colleague, photographer Bruce Weber, to capture the essence of her philosophy: that every woman is naturally pretty, but with the right colors, products and techniques, she can feel pretty powerful.

Staged on a sprawling property in East Hampton, Long Island, the people photographed on the shoot were friends of Bruce and Bobbi’s. Among them model friends like Ann Marie Kortright, Talisa Soto, Jane Gill (who brought along her 14-year-old daughter Grace) and Lisa Taylor as well as non-model friends like philanthropist and style doyenne Iris Apfel, Afghan de-mining activist Kyleigh Kuhn, Brazilian drummer Michele Kettner, among others. There was an easy, party atmosphere as this group of people mingled and chatted and walked on and off the set. Bruce made everyone feel at ease. Bobbi made everyone look beautiful in their own unique way.
