At The Broad, alongside Yoko Ono’s exhibition “Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind,” live performances, participatory events, and billboard artworks are unfolding across the city. In addition to restagings of Cut Piece and Sky Piece to Jesus Christ, seven billboard works featuring messages such as “PEACE is POWER” have been installed throughout Los Angeles. Returning to the same urban landscape nearly 60 years later, these messages reconnect Ono’s vision of peace with the present day.
On view until October 11th
