The brilliant artist Yayoi Kusama captured by Chikashi Suzuki at the inaugural exhibition of the Yayoi Kusama Museum, 107 Bentencho, Shinjuku, Tokyo.
“Creation is a Solitary Pursuit, Love is What Brings You Closer to Art” focuses on her newest painting series “My Eternal Soul” and the series entitled “Love Forever”, a collection of black and white drawings that formed the precursor to Kusama’s latest series. The exhibition showcases a installation piece created especially for the museum’s opening, along with a new pumpkin.
“Creation is a Solitary Pursuit, Love is What Brings You Closer to Art” is on view until February 25th, 2017.
