This exhibition is an unapologetic exploration of life’s messy, unpredictable moments. Initially conceived as a series of spontaneous, playful paintings, the project evolved into something deeper. Madrigal’s impulsive approach captures raw, candid scenes where sex, struggle, tension, and fleeting pleasure intertwine. His works reflect the absurdity of trying to escape reality, showing brief moments of release amid the pressures of life. With humor and vulnerability, Madrigal’s paintings channel the chaotic spirit of Jan Steen, blending chaos, reflection, and absurdity into a brutally honest portrayal of human experience.
