[June 4 2020]
Supporting the Black Lives Matter movement in response to Floyd’s killing on the 25th of May, Europe has rallied together in support of the movement. On Tuesday June 2nd 2020, thousands of people in Paris came together to protest against racial injustice and police violence at an event marking the death of Adama Traore, a 24 year-old who died in police custody in 2016 and whose death has been likened to the death of George Floyd in the US.
