Rachel Uffner Gallery’s new three person exhibition of Lucas Knipscher, Win McCarthy and Sigmar Polke stresses collaboration and context. The late Polke’s photographs are the foundation for the intense, romantic sculptures of Knipscher and McCarthy. Polke’s masterful works ground the exhibition’s themes of disaster and rebirth wthout feeling heavy handed. On view through March 3rd 2013 at Rachel Uffner, 47 Orchard Street, New York.
