American Conceptual artist Lawrence Weiner presents an exhibition of works at New York’s Marian Goodman Gallery. Gyroscopically Speaking fills the massive uptown space with classic Weiner texts. Often generous in scale and simple in presentation, this body of work continues Weiner’s exploration of the relationship between language and material. Weiner’s influence on the art world is visable in the works of Barbara Kruger and Felix Gonzalez-Torres and redefines the interaction between humans and objects. Gyroscopically Speaking by Laurence Weiner is on view through 21 January at Marian Goodman, 24 W 57th St # 4, New York. Text and Photo Juliana Balestin
