[September 24 2012]
Mary Boone Gallery’s first show of the fall season features the vibrant paintings of artist Ernst Wilhelm Nay. Nay’s loose brushstrokes focus on the abstract potential of color. The works, dating from the 1950s and 60s, are medium format explorations of simplified shape and line. On view through October 6th 2012 at Mary Boone Gallery, 541 West 24th Street, New York.
