Japanese contemporary potter Takuro Kuwata let’s us into his new studio in Gifu, Japan.
Within the walls of his studio, Kuwata experiments and creates, reinterpreting the concept of « Wabi-sabi, » a Japanese aesthetic theory that stands for beauty in every aspect of imperfection.
Takuro Kuwata sculpts and tempts the boundaries of his medium to let « chance » or accidents define those imperfections and give his sculptures a life of their own.
