Les Bosquets teaser by JR
Premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 26th is Les Bosquets, a film by French artist JR. The film follows the story of JR’s first project Portrait of a Generation in the ghetto of Montfermeil. It renders the story of Ladj Ly and the riots in the suburbs of Paris in 2005, and the ballet Les Bosquets from the New York City Ballet in 2014. This film is a continuation of this 10 years project, for which he uses various means of expression and narration : video archives, choreography and testimony.
