A look back at the original high-fashion-meets-avant-sound collaboration between two French pioneers, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean-Claude Vannier. L’enfant la Mouche et les Allumettes, from Vannier’s 1972 LP breakthrough masterpiece L’enfant Assassin des Mouches, is performed live as a strident musical accompaniment to YSL’s F/W 1971 collection, The Roland Petit Show, fueling more power, modernity, and inspiration.
