Hal Clapp (aka Bob Odenkirk) Vs.The Soft Pack: A Music Review Program by Bob Odenkirk
This short is a promo for The Soft Pack’s new album Strapped. A parody video of the infamous moment in music history when right wing crankpot journalist Al Capp interrogated John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their Montreal “Bed-In” in 1969. Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show, Breaking Bad), playing “Hal Clapp,” interviews members of The Soft Pack, all dressed in pajamas on a king sized bed. Hal gives the band hell over their antics and lack of “comportment” while acting unimpressed by their album. By the end though, we see a change of heart in “Hal’s” hard reserve.
