This scene is an excerpt The Color Wheel, an independent comedy directed by Alex Ross Perry, starring and co-written by Perry and comedienne/jewelry designer Carlen Altman, The Color Wheel is the story of an increasingly transient aspiring news-anchor, as she forces her disappointing younger brother Colin to embark on a road trip to move her belongings out of her professor-turned-lover’s apartment.

The film was shot in beautiful black-and-white 16mm and Perry takes inspiration from Robert Frank, Jerry Lewis and Philip Roth as well as his Jewish upbringing.
