Intimate story “Encounter” shot by Bella Bradbury
Photographer Bella Bradbury captures raw moments of intimacy before, during and after first-time sexual encounters, taken across a series of online dates. She situates these moments within a distinctly personal female gaze that rejects the embellishments of pornography and mainstream portrayals of sex, and embraces the strangeness of modern dating culture. “For me, sex is intimate and beautiful,” she shares. “It’s a way that I see myself.”
