Bielsteiner by Man Power feat M Rolfe
Purple TV presents the music video premiere for Bielsteiner by Man Power. The elusive artist shot to notoriety for his releases on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs and is a firm favourite of Beats In Space DJ Tim Sweeney. “Bielsteiner was the last track that actually found it’s way on to the album. I’d discovered an abandoned sketch from god knows when while I was in the last couple of weeks of working on it. I added a vocal from my close friend M J Rolfe (the amazingly talented lead singer from the band “The Great Curve) and the song felt finished, and as soon as I added the song to the other album tracks, the album felt finished. For that reason it’s one of my favourites on there,” said Man Power. “The song added the human element that the album needed, so I’m pleased that my other good friend Matthew Parry chose to use a candid human home video feel for the video he created for the track. My only direction to him was that I wanted the video to have a none explicit narrative, as I’m very much fascinated with people’s personalised responses to artistic works. I certainly have my own interpretation of what the video means, but I’m not sure it will be the same as anyone else’s which is part of the beauty.”
