In “Still Leben”, Miriam Cahn replaces her usual visceral bodies with charged domestic absence. Objects charged with latent histories, quietly politicizing care, gender, and aging. The exhibition’s restraint is deceptive: beneath its stillness lies displacement, memory, and unresolved violence, rendered with austere, intimate precision.
